Should Christians Really Support Israel?

by Dr. David Reagan

God is fulfilling promises today that were made to the Jewish people thousands of years ago. These promises rest on a series of legal agreements, called covenants, made between God and the Jewish people, that center on the land of Israel.

The cornerstone covenant — the Abrahamic Covenant — grants the title deed to the land of Israel to the descendants of the line of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. This unconditional, irrevocable, and everlasting promise was literally sealed in blood (Genesis 12:1–713:14–1817:71 Chronicles 16:17–18Psalm 105:8–11Romans 9:4)!

God’s Land Covenant promised that Israel will one day become the prime nation of the world, that is, as long as the Jewish people remain obedient to God (Deuteronomy 28:1,13).

The End Times According To Peter

by Jack Kelley

Dear friends, this is now my second letter to you. I have written both of them as reminders to stimulate you to wholesome thinking. I want you to recall the words spoken in the past by the holy prophets and the command given by our Lord and Savior through your apostles. (2 Peter 3:1-2)

Peter wrote this letter, his final one, around 65 AD. He was probably in Rome at the time, since he was crucified in 68, though he may have still been in Babylon, where he’d written letter number one five years earlier.

His purpose in writing was three-fold: to stimulate spiritual growth among Christians, to combat the false teaching that was coming into the Church, and to emphasize the certainty of the Lord’s return. We’ll focus on this third purpose, which Peter addressed in chapter 3.

The Holy Spirit in the End Times

by Dr. David R. Reagan

One hundred years ago, as the 20thCentury began, the Holy Spirit was not alive and well in the Church. Christendom was in bondage to the theology of Deism which held that miracles had ceased, all aspects of the supernatural (such as angels and demons) had been laid to rest, and that God was a grand old man in the sky, best identified as “The Great I Was.”

Target: Tel Aviv

by Gary Stearman

War talk is more than an idle threat. It is the spillover of language that has taken place behind the scenes after diplomacy has failed.

Historically, the reality of an impending war can be measured by the language used by opponents as the horrific day of actual battle approaches. In 1936, Fascists and Republicans clashed in Spain. Extreme Leftists purged the moderates in Soviet Russia. Even in the United States, rightists vigorously opposed Roosevelt’s growing statist tendencies. In 1937, pastors were jailed by the Nazis in Germany. The Japanese bombed Shanghai. Chiang Kai-shek of China joined with Mao Tsetung to oppose Hirohito’s forces. Then, the Chinese broke and Chinese Communism exploded.

World Population Reaches 7 Billion: Signs of the Days of Noah

by Rob Robinson

Statisticians report that the word has reaches 7 billion souls.  With the massive increase in world population one wonders at the prophetic implications of such a monumental pinnacle. The last time the world population reached 7 billion, it was during the days of Noah. According to Mathematicians, the population of the earth after Adam, grew exponentially due to the life span of man being over 900 years. Using an algebraic calculation, the number of human beings at the time of Noah and the flood, could easily have been 7 billion people.

Jesus said that “As the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be”.

Matthew 24:37 But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.

Through The Veil

By Matt Leasher

One of the most significant questions that the Bible answers and reveals to mankind is what happens after we die, or as I prefer to say, pass on.  Many view death as the complete end of their life and in an earthly physical sense it is, but it isn’t the end of our conscience mind and spirit.  King Solomon writing about what happens when we pass on from this earthly existence said this:

“Then the dust will return to the earth as it was, and the spirit will return to God who gave it”. (Ecclesiastes 12:7)

I especially like the warning that he gives in the verse just prior:

“Remember your Creator before the silver cord is loosed” (Ecclesiastes 12:6)

The Trial

by Jack Kinsella

Mankind is a mystery to the angels.  The Bible says that God has charged them with ministering to men on this earth in this life with the understanding that men will judge them in the world to come.

One of the purposes for the creation of man, according to Scripture, was the instruction of angels.

“Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; WHICH THINGS THE ANGELS DESIRE TO LOOK INTO.” (1st Peter 1:12)

Don’t Believe Anything I Tell You

by Jack Kelley

The Fall Feasts are over for another year, Harold Camping’s latest date has passed, and the Comet Elenin has come and gone with no discernible effect. Hours of YouTube presentations, some very skilfully done, have been proven wrong and still no rapture.

When the rapture didn’t happen on Rosh Hashanah I got eMails from people expressing everything from disappointment to anger to a loss of hope altogether. One message summed up the feeling of most by saying, “I guess I’ll just go into hibernation until next year.”

These people all had their hearts set on the rapture coming on a particular date and when it didn’t they lost hope, at least for another year. By pinning their expectations on that one day they eliminated all other days and came away discouraged.

Peter’s Prophecy

by Britt Gillette

Almost 2,000 years ago, the apostle Peter prophesied that in the last days scoffers would appear, arguing against the possibility of Christ’s return.

The very argument he said they would use is today one of the most common among skeptics:

“Most importantly, I want to remind you that in the last days scoffers will come, mocking the truth and following their own desires. They will say, ‘What happened to the promise that Jesus is coming again? From before the times of our ancestors, everything has remained the same since the world was first created.'”

2 Peter 3:3-4 (NLT)

In addition to ignoring Christ’s own promise to return, this argument is built upon a faulty premise: that “from before the times of our ancestors, everything has remained the same since the world was first created.”

Is this really true?

The End Of The Last Days

By Matt Leasher

In the decades that followed the rebirth of Israel as a nation in 1948, Bible prophecy scholars have been declaring the realization that we are in the last days and that Christ is coming soon. But as the decades continue to roll by many have become weary of the message that we are in the last days and have presumed Christ’s return to be far off.  The problem with the people that are losing hope in Christ’s soon return is that perhaps they do not understand just exactly what the last days are in light of the big picture.

Hebrews 1:1-2 tells us that the period known as being the “last days” began when Jesus Christ came into the world.

God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, (Hebrews 1:1-2).
